Copia is a relaxed local eatery to drop in and enjoy social dining, shared plates, set menu’s with a selection of delicious wines, craft beers, gins and cocktails, including produce from our own garden and greenhouse on site. We are dedicated to sustainability, ethical dining and combining old world techniques with modern cooking.
We are passionate about community and ingredients, inspired by modern New Zealand seasonal cuisine and wine, committed to supporting local like minded suppliers using sustainable practices. There is a focus on New Zealand wines with the emphasis on organic and biodynamic practices, that most sympathetically reflect the place from which they originate.
Chef owners Ken O Connell and Sam Sykes have combined their cooking skills and experience in New Zealand and European Hatted and Michelin restaurants to see what Auckland could offer in terms of produce, lifestyle and creativity. They work closely with farmers, fishermen and artisan producers and bring the personal connection to the ingredients and to give an authentic dining experience
